BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City Clerk's Office received notification of the resignation of Board Member, Paul Tarbell (filed). It is, therefore, recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for the vacancy below. San JoaquinCounty Emergency_ Food and Shelter Program Paul Tarbell Unspecifiedterm limit State statute requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application. The City Council is requested to direct the City Clerk to make the necessary postings. FISCAL IMPACT: None. FUNDING AVAILABLE: None required. Susan J. County Emergency Food & Shelter Program, which is empowered to identify the needs of citizens with regard to food and shelter throughout San Joaquin County. The group meets several times a year with meetings held in the Stockton area. The group consists of representatives from throughout the County - one from the Lodi area - each serving an unspecified term. Applications are now being accepted to fill one (1) vacancy. Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk's office at 221 W. Pine St., 2"d floor. For more information call 333-6702, or access the City's Web site at www.lodi.gov.
