BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Several terms are due to expire on the Eastside Improvement Committee. It is, therefore, recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for the expiring terms below. Eastside lnmwoyement QMmittee Robina Asghar Term to expire March 1, 2005 Ed Beswick Term to expire March 1, 2005 Ernest Golladay Term to expire March 1, 2005 State statute requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application. The EIC meets at 5:00 p.m. on the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Adopt -A -Child Building, 100 East Pine Street, and consists of 9 members, each serving 3 -year terms. Applications are now being accepted for the EIC to fill three (3) vacancies for 3 -year terms which expire on March 1, 2008. Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk's office at 221 West Pine Street, 2" d floor. For more Information call 333-6702 or access the City's Web site at www.lodi.gov.
