I~ ACK(3 .Oi, N I€ FQRMk ION-.. The project was awarded to Stockton Service Station Equipment, Inc., of Stockton, on December 5, 2001, in the amount of $209,660.00. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The original contract completion date was July 5, 2002, and the actual completion date was March 31. 200. The significant delay between contract and actual completion dates was due to contractor problems, delays in delivery of bath owner- and contractor -supplied equipment, additional work required, and problems experienced in start tip of the system. The final contract price was $241,453.28. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is due to four change orders totaling $31,793.28 (15.16% of the original contract amount). Change order work included removal and replacement of concrete and asphalt, replacement of fiberglass sumps, addition to modify Phase I Vapor Recovery System, electrical rewiring, emergency switch rnodifications. and miscellaneous contract deductions. Following acceptance by the City Council. the City Engineer will file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office.
