Community Development ent Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council set a Public Hearing for July 2, 2003, to consider the appeal of G -REM regarding the Planning Commission's denial of the request to amend Resolution 3-12 adding a condition of approval to the Vintner's Square Slopping Center located at the northwest corner of Lower Sacramento Road and Kettlernan lane. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Cin June 11, 2003, the Planning Commission denied the applicant's request to add a condition of approval to the Vintner's Square Shopping Center, Resolution 03-12. The applicant, G -REM, is appealing this decision in order to have the City Council consider the merits of the request. Further, the applicant is requesting the item be heard in conjunction with the appeal fled by Ann Cerney and Citizens for Open Government that was filed against the Final EIR for the project. As such, staff is making a separate recommendation regarding that item on your agenda. FUJNDING.
