RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "Lawrence Park
Flayground Improvements, 350 North Washington Street" contract.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION[ The project was awarded to A.M. Stephens Construction Company,
of Lodi, on November20, 2002, in the amount of $106,401.85. The
contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the
plans and specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract compietion dale was May 11, 2003, and the actual completion date was May 11, 2003.
'The final contract price was $110,376.85. The difference between the contract amount and the final
contract price is mainly due to additional sidewalk work and the addition of more lawn seed and sod to
the contract.
Following acceptance by the City Council, the City Engineerwill file a Notice of Completion with the
County Recorder's office.
FUNDING, Budgeted Fund: Community Development Plock Grant Fund
Contract Amount: $110,376.85
