ECOMM. ENDED ACTION= That Council, by motion action, direct the City Clerk to post for the following
vacancies on the Lodi Arts Commission.
BACKGROUNDINFORMATION: The City Clerk's Office received two letters of resignation from
members of the Lodi Arts Commission, copies of which are on frte in
the City Clerk's Office. Therefore, it is requested that the City
Council direct the City Clerk to post for the following vacancies.

State salute requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit=:

Two (2) Vacancies

The City of Lodi is currently accepting applications for
the Lodi Arts Commission, developed to inspire,
encourage, and promote the arts in the community.
The Lodi Arts Commission meets at 12:00 noon on
the 2"c' Wednesday of each month at the Cottage Room
at Hutchins Street Square, and consists of 11 members,
each serving 3 -year terms.
Applications are now being accepted to fill two (2)
vacancies, with the terms due to expire on July 1, 2004
(1 -year term), and July 1,2005(2-yeartarm).
Applications may be obtained from the City Cleric's
office at 221 W, Pine St., 2"d floor. For more
information call 333-6742, or access the City's Web
site at wwwJo i. ov.
Appointments to the commission will be made by the
Mayor with Council approval,
