HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - December 3, 2003 E-05AGENDA ITEM E 06 • CITY OF LODI W COUNCIL COMMUNICATION TM AGENDA TITLE: Accept Improvements Under Contract for Fire Station 1 Staff Quarters Carpeting MEETING DATE: December 3, 2003 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "Fire Station 1 Staff Quarters Carpeting" contract. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Grand Floor Design, of Lodi, on June 18, 2003, in the amount of $7,997. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was July 18, 2003, and the actual completion date was September 26, 2003. City staff requested the contractor postpone initiation of the project in order to coordinate it with other work. The final contract price was $7,997. Following acceptance by the City Council, the City Engineer will file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office.
