AGENDA TITLE: Accept Improvements lender Contract for Fire Station 3 Air Conditioning
Replacement, 2141 South Nara Lane

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the Fire Station 3
Air Conditioning Replacement, 2141 South Hare Lane, contract.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to All Bay Mechanical, of Santa Clara, on
April 16, 2003, in the amount of $19,140.78. The contract has been
completed in substantial conformance with the plans and
specifications approved by the City Council.
The final contract price was $22,135.78. The difference between the contract amount and the final
contract price is due to the installation of an additional fan coil unit in the apparatus bay work-out area,
The cost for this additional unit was $2,995.00.
Following acceptance by the City Council, the City Engineer will file a Notice of Completion with the
County Recorder's office.
FUNDING: Budgeted Fund: 1211.365
Contract Amount: $22,135.78
