The addUbuna|cost oYpaving nn Sundays ($30.80O)orpaving atnight (two nights) ($2O.000)does not seem tobawarranted. There were 242letters sent toaffected residences and businesses, To date, we have received only four inquiries voicing interest or concerns about the project. Plans and specifications for this project were approved onMay 21.2003. The City received the following five bids for this project. Acopy ofthe Bid Tabulation for this project is attached. The recommended appropriation amount includes the construction contract and an allowance for testing and related construction engineering expenses and contingencies. Sacramento $467,467.00 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends award of the bid for Lodi Avenue Asphalt Concrete Resurfacing, Ham Lane to Union Pacific Railroad, be made to the low bidder, Granite Construction Company, of Stockton, California, in the amount of $349,985.00.
