RECOMMENDED ACTION: This item is for information only. No action is required.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This information is being given to the City Council
in accordance with the Contract Change Order policy
approved by Resolution 85-72. One of the requirements of
this policy is that we inform the City Council of all
change orders over 10 percent of the contract amount.
This attached contract change order, approved by the City Manager, was in the amount
of $8,556.00, which is 24% of the contract. The work includes redesign of the fence
to provide 4 1/2" outside diameter posts instead of 6 5/8" outside diameter.
Re-engineering, restocking charge, lost time/additional work, and Contractor markup
are included in the price.
The time of completion was extended severs working days by this change order.
FUNDING: Originally Contract: $35,921.39
Budgeted Fund: 121.0 - General Fund
Contract Amount Including Change Order- $44,477.39

if this proposal is approved, to provide all equipment, furnish all materials, except
as otherwise noted above, perform all services necessary for the work above specified,
