RECOMMENDED ACTION:
AGENDA ITEM RECOMMENDATION
a Recommended that the City Council approve the following requests of
David C. Sproul:
1. to prezone 5909 and 0161 East State Route 12 (APN's 049-040-07
and 049-130-22) M-1, Light Industrial District; and
2. to certify the filing of a Negative Declaration by the Community
Development Director as adequate environmental documentation on
the above project.

b. Denied the following request of Wilidon Land Co.:
1. for a General Plan Amendment to redesignate the parcel at 2220
West Kettleman Lane (APN 058-370-03) from 0, Office to NCC,
Neighborhood -Community Commercial;
2. to amend P -D(24), Planned Development District No. 24 (The
Meadows) to change the permitted uses from office -institutional
to commercial shopping at 2220 West K.ettleman Lane (APN
058-370-03); and
3. to certify the filing of a Negative Declaration by the Community
Development Director as adequate environmental documentation on
the above projects.

C. Denied the following requests of Marlo Kerner and Marlene Gutierrez:
1. to amend. P -D(21), Planned Development District No. 21,
(Lakeshore Village) by modifying the permitted uses tc allow a
restaurant with a cocktail lounge at 1750 West Kettleman Lane
(APN 058-160-86); and
2. to certify the filing of a negative declaration, by the ComnuO ty
Development Director as adequate environmental documentation on
the above project.
d. Conditionally approved the request of Benjamin and Carmelita Pineda
for a Use Permit to operate a 15 -bed board and care home for adults
at 458 Almond Drive in an area zoned R -MD, Medium Density Multiple
Family Residential.
e. Conditionally approved the request )f Angie Jarnin for a day care
facility for 12 children :A 316 North Mills Avenue in an area zoned
R-2, Single -Family Residential.
