The Boys & Girls Club has served more membership in the past three years. The purpose of this special event is to give the youth of our city an alternative to being on the street:: on Halloween night. As parents we are aware of all the horror stories we read and hear about what happens to children throughout the stat during the trick or treat period. It is our hope that the Boys & Girls Club will offer the children of our community a Safe House to have fun, receive candy, and enjoy this night out with there parents. It is the hope of the Boys & Girls Club that the City Council will proclaim Octcber 31, 1993 as Halloween Sa:'e House night at the Boys & Girls Club and urge all citizens to participate.
