COUNCIL COMMUNICATION
AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Type II Slurry Sea],
Various Streets, 1993

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the'City Council accept the improvements for Type :I
Slurry Seal, Various City Streets, 1993, and direct the Public
Works Director to file a Notice of Completion with the County
Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Graham contractors of San Jose
on July 9, 1993, in the amount of $39,749.17. The contract
has been completed in substantial conformance with the
specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract completion date was August 24, 1993, and the final contract price was
$41,592.92. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price
is mainly due to adding $1,843.75 of slurry work at the White Slough Water Pollution
Control Facility.
FUNDING: Originally Budgeted: 1993/94
Budgeted Funds: Street Work - 32 Fund, 33 Fund or 124 Fund
White Slough - Sewer Fund
Current Appropriation: $45,000.00
Total Project Estimate: $41,592.92
