BOB McNATT
City Attorney
At its meeting of Monday, January 14, 1991 the Lodi City Planning
Commission denied your request on behalf of Brent Workman for the approval
of a Tentative Parcel Map to create 2 parcels from 1 parcel at 230 East
Vine Street in an area zoned R-1*, Single -Family Residential - Eastside.
The Planning Commission denied this request for the following reasons:
1. the off-street parking solution for the front did not conform to City
Standards;
2, the rear parcel lacked a turnaround for fire trucks and maneuvering
area for on-site vehicles;
3. the lighting solution for the rear lot did not appear to be adequate;
and
4. the buildable area for the rear lot was too small and overcrowded.
Section 16.36.010 of the Lodi Municipal Code provides:
"Any interested erson adversely affected by any decision of the
advisory agency ti.e. Planning Commission) may file a complaint with
the City Clerk concerning such decision. Any such complaint shall be
filed with the City Clerk within fifteen days after the action which
is the subject of the complaint. The City Council may, in its
discretion, reject the complaint within fifteen days or set the matter
for public hearing."
