BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Over the years, we have had various groups, organizations or individuals requesting to use Zupo Field for concerts, dog shows, etc. - non athletic -type uses. It is a great facility for gen,,rally small event activities when crowds don't exceed 500 to 3,000 people. It's inclosed, has seating for 1,800 in the stands and can be set up for seating on the field area, with stage, etc. We felt it was time to have a committed rate for use, so we patterned our fees after Billy Hebert Field in Stockton, since the facilities are so very alike. Attached is the fee schedule that was reviewed and passed by the Parks and Recreation Commission June 1, 1993. Your attention to our request is appreciated.
