BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The following actions were taken at the last regular
Planning Commission meeting of July 12, 1993:
a.
Conditionally approved the request of Overhead Door Corporation for a
Tentative Parcel Map to create 6 lots from 1 lot at 226 North Cluff
Avenue in an area zoned M-2, Heavy Industrial.
b.
Continued until Monday, August 9, 1993 the request of Fugazi Bros.
for approval of a Tentative Parcel Map to create 4 lots from 2 lots
at 425 and 429 West Locust Street in an area zoned R-1*,
Single -Family Residential - Eastside.
C.
Determined that a Zoning Hardship existed and approved the request of
Church of God (7th Day) for a Zoning Variance to reduce the required
side yard setback from 5 feet to 4 feet 8 inches at 226 East Poplar
Street in an area zoned R-1*, Single -Family Residential - Eastside.
d.
Conditionally approved the request of Church of God (7th Day) for a
Tentative Parcel Map to create 2 lots from 1 lot at 226 East Poplar
Street in an area zoned R-1*, Single -Family Residential - Eastside.
e.
Set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m., Monday, August 9, 1993 to
consider recomiending certain amen ments to the City's on-site sign
requirements.
f.
Approved the request of Dale Gillespie, Bennett and Compton on behalf
of Towne Ranch Associates for the design of a reverse frontage fence
along Lower Cacramento Road between the MCI property and Tejon Drive
in the Towne Ranch Subdivision.
