CITY OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION
AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Electric Utility Portable Office
Building Contract
MEETING DATE: January 20, 1993
PREPARED BY: Public Works Director
RECOMMENDED ACTION: -That the City Council accept the improvements under the
"Electric Utility Portable Office Building" contract and direct
the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Completion with
the County Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Meehleis Modular Buildings, Inc.
of Lodi, California, on May 11, 1992, in the amount of
$149,750. The contract has been completed in substantial
conformance with the plans and specifications approved by
the City Council.
The contract completion date was January 6, 1993, and the actual completion date was
January 6, 1993. The final contract price was $150,430. The difference between the
contract amount and the final contract price is due to one change order in the
amount of $680 for minor plumbing and electrical modifications.
FUNDING: Originally Budgeted: 1992/93
Amount Budgeted: $160,000
