COUNCIL COMMUNICATION
AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Well #11-R Enclosure,
824 East Turner Road, Contract
MEETING DATE: May 19, 1993
PREPARED BY: Public Works Director
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the
"Well #11-R Enclosure, 824 East Turner Road" contract, and
direct the Public Works Director to file a Notice of CUnpletion
with the County Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to N. Max Lee, Inc., of Lodi on
August 19, 1992, in the amount of $66,994.00. The contract
has been completed in substantial conformance with the
plans and specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract completion date was May 4, 1993, and the actual completion date was
May 4, 1993. The final contract price was $67,602.40. The difference between the
contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to an increase in the
square footage of the concrete work for the driveway.
