ON Attornev
This is to notify you that at a recent meeting, the City Council
changed the format of its agenda. Under Communications, there is now a
segment on the agenda that gives Boards, Commissions, Task Forces, and,
Committees the opportrnity to present a brief report to the City
Council. This report should be no longer than 10 - 15 minutes and
would provide the Council with an update of the activities of the
various Boards and Commissions.
If a Board, Commission, Task Force or Coomittee is interested in
presenting a report to the City Council, contact the City Clerk in
advance of the City Council meeting Our office prepares the City
Council agendas on thb Tuesd-ty or. t1.3 week before a City Council
meeting, and in order to be included on an agenda under this segment,
this schedule must be followed. It is also recommended (but not
required) that the interested Board, Commission, Task Force or
Committee prepare a written report to be included in the City Council's
packet, so that they may have the opportunity to review this
information prior to the meeting.
Another format change the City Council made was to change the start
time of its meetings. Beginning April 7, 1993, the City Council
meetings will commence at 7:00 p.m. rather than 7:30 p.m.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this
matter. I will be mare than happy to assiet in any way that I can.
Very truly yours,
