HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - October 16, 2002 E-15AGENDA TITLE: Accept Improvements Under Contract for White Slough Control Building Reroof, 12751 North Thornton Road MEETING DATE: October 16, 2002 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "White Slough Control Building Reroof, 12751 North Thornton Road" contract, for the removal of the existing built-up roofing, and installation of new single -ply roof system. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Kodiak Roofing and Waterproofing Company, of Loomis, on June 19, 2002, in the amount of $68,400. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was August 20, 2002, and the actual completion date was September 27, 2002. The final contract price was $68,400. There is no difference between the contract amount and the final contract price, as there were no change orders. Following acceptance by the City Council, the City Engineer will file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office.
