BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Two adult advisor terms are due to expire on the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission. Therefore, it is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for the expiring terms shown below. Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission (adult advisors) Richard Dean (LUSD Rep.) Term to expire August 30, 2002 Jeff Fleak Term to expire August 30, 2002 State statute requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application. The Youth Commission meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Cottage Room at Hutchins Street Square, and consists of 6 adult advisors, 1 City Council representative, and 9 student members. Applications are now being accepted to fill two (2) vacancies for three-year terms to expire August 30, 2005. Applications may be obtained at City Clerk's office, 221 W. Pine St., 2nd floor, or print and complete an application from the City Web site at www.lodi.gov. For more information, call 333-6702.
