Maintenance Services for the City of Lodi's White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility
MEETING DATE: May 15, 2002
PREPARED BY: Public Works Director
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council authorize staff to request and advertise for proposals
to provide instrumentation maintenance services for the White Slough
Water Pollution Control Facility.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: A Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide annual instrumentation
maintenance services is being pursued to continue the enhanced
quality of maintenance to the instrumentation at White Slough. The
instrumentation is currently maintained by City staff and an outside
contractor. The environment this equipment is subjected to requires a comprehensive maintenance
service. The number of devices and the technology involved mandate this comprehensive maintenance to
insure accuracy and dependability for the additional monitoring required in our approved discharge permit.
The proposal is for a one-year contract with an option to renew for a second year.
FUNDING: The money for this project will be coming from the White Slough Operations and
Maintenance Account.
Project Estimate (1 Year): $9,785
