As a result of the installed high efficiency air conditioning units, the Social Security Administration will reduce energy costs by nearly 20 percent on a monthly basis. The programmable thermostats will also allow for more consistent management of the facility's heating and cooling system (better coordination of system run-times, etc.). The City of Lodi Electric Utility respectfully recommends approval of this funding request as an approved element of the City of Lodi Public Benefits Program, and designated energy conservation measures for commercial structures.
