HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - October 5, 1994 (72)OP CITY OF LODI .J COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Specifications and Advertisement for Bids for Tables and Table Storage Carts for Hutchins Street Square MEETING DATE: October 5, 1994 PREPARED BY: Community Center Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the specifications and authorize advertisement for bids for the pur- chase of forty 36" x 96" folding tables, and five table storage carts for the Community Center at Hutchins Street Square. BACKGROUND 1NFORMAfION: Due to continual heavy use, and frequent public misuse of the old 36" x 96" folding tables cur- rently utilized in the Center's multipurpose room, many of those tables are now beyond repair and considered unsafe. The need for heavy-duty, lightweight tables designed and built for long service life justifies the specification of the�Mity-Lite table, which carries a five-year parts and labor warranty.
