Parks and Recreation Department
125 N. Stockton Street
Lodi, Ca 95240
Dear Ron,
It is with very great regret that 1 have to write this
letter. 1 have put many hours of thought into this matter.
As of your receiving this letter, I am resigning from the
Parks and Recreation Commission. It is for personal matters that
1 can not cope with at this time. It is very important that all
commissioners and especially the chairman be able to communicate
with all members of the staff. I find that impossible at this
time.
I want what is best for the department and the city. Once
again, I want you to know that I do this with great regret. I
hope that at some time in the future l might be able to get back
on the commission. 1 have also been asked to be on the board of
the Pacific Water Quality Association, so I am not dropping out,
I am just being forced to make some changes.
1 hope you can understand what 1 am doing. 1 have very much
enjoyed being on the commission. I know Ed Wall will take over
and be a very good chairman.

Evelyn Olson, Chairman
125 S. Hutchins Street, Suite D
Lodi, California 95240
Dear Evelyn:
It is with deep regret that I submit my letter of resignation as a
commissioner frau the Lodi Arts Mmaission. During my tenure I served
with conviction and love for the arts. I strongly believe that our
city will be highly enriched by the programs that the commission has
worked so hard to achieve. 7he Young Renaissance Art Show and now
the new Drama Fest '94 are a good example of the several projects
developed by the members of the Lodi Arts Commission. I am honored
to have been a part in the development of sane of these proejcts.
I am trully sad for having to resign, however my work schedule and
other circumstances make it extremely difficult to attend the 12:00 noon
scheduled meetings. As my time allows I will continue working towards
the betterment for the arts.
I thank each and everyone in the commission for their cooperation.
Sincerely,
Juan M. Goizaz
