with the revitalization. -

• Lodi Boys and Girls Club recently broke ground on its project at Blakely
• Henry Gtaves Park playground equipment has been installed and is now in use;�.;�

• Henry Giaves Paris at 5:00 p.m.; and ,
• Lodi American Legion baseball team is Waving on August 18, 1994 for Corvallis,
Oregon to compete in the Pacific Northwest Region American Legion toumament.

SUBJECT. Items of Information and Possible Announcement to the Citizens of
Lodi
o The Lodi Bovs and Girls Club - The dub broke ground on their
project at Blakely Park recently. To date the replacement
playground equipment area and basketball pads have. been
completed at the park. Equipment and basketball standards should
be in place in a couple of. weeks.
o H_ envy Glaves Park Playground Eauicment - The equipment has
been installed and in use at this time. Area residents have asked
for swings to be installed - we didn't have enough money to do it
all, so this was left out of the installation at this time.
o Concert in the Park - Summer Memories and Leftovers is the
theme for this Sunday's (August 21) concert at the west end of
Henry Glaves Park at 5 p.m.. Bring your picnic basket and lawn
chairs and enjoy the Lodi Community Band. This event is free.
o Lodi American Legion Baseball - The team leaves Thursday,
August 18, for Corvallis, Oregon to compete in the Pacific
Northwest Region American Legion tournament August 19-23.
Games to be played at Taylor Field at Corvallis High School. Lodi
opens with the host Corvallis team on Friday. August 19 at 7 p.m.
