AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Type 11 Slurry Seal for Various City
Streets, 1994

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements for Type 11 Slurry Seal for
Various City Streets, 1994, and direct the Public Works Director to file a
Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's Office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to California Pavement Maintenance
of Sacramento, California, on June 15, 1994, in the amount of
$34,132. The contract has been completed in substantial
conformance with the specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract completion date was July 8, 1994, and the final contract price was $33,560.38. The
difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is due to a difference in the
square footage actually c:::ered.
