HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - August 3, 1984OCIN OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Intention to Vacate Public Utility Easements et 600 and 610 West Lodi Avenue MEETING DATE: August 3, 1984 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That t'he City Council adapt the attached resolution of intention to abandon three on-site easements at 600 and 610 West Lodi Avenue, as shown on the attached exhibit, refer the matter to the Planning Commission, and set it for public hearing at the regular_ Council meeting of September 7, .1994. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The easements are located on the properties adjacent'to and west of the Lucky Store property. The 5 -foot and 3 -foot easements at 600 and 610 West Lodi Avenue have existing utilities that provided services to structures that have either been or will be demolished (Mandarin House Restaurant and Central Sierra Bank). The 10 -toot and 7 -foot easements have never been used. The developer of the properties will dedicate easements and relocate any necessary services required for future development. The following utility agencies and departments have been notified and responded favorably to the proposed abandonment: PG&E, Pacific Bell, King Videocable Company, City of Lodi Electric Utility Department and Water/Wastewater Division. Lodi Avenue - Book of Official Records Vol. 4364, Pg. 612 Reference is hereby made to a drawing on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi showing the particulars of the vacation.
