Under Resolution No. 93-35,(E) (1) it is necessary that a Councilmember move that the matter be taken up from the cable, seconded and passed by a majority. Such motion must be made at the meeting at which it is placed on the table or the next regular meeting of the body. Otherwise the motion tabled dies. At your request the announcement was made by myself that you wished to postpone your matter to the next meeting due to the late hour. The City Council decided that there was not a need to discuss this matter as an agenda item, therefore, the action. It was further stated that you may make your presentation under the segment of the agenda entitled, "Comments by the public on non -agenda items". You would be limited to five minutes and the City Council would not be able to take action on the matter. however, they would be able to set the matter for a future meeting if they so desired. I would also like to inform you that Council Member Davenport has requested that this action to lay your request on the table be reconsidered. In order to reconsider this matter, a majority of the City Council must move that the matter be "taken up from the table" (please refer to the Council Communication prepared by the City Attorney attached). Box 1220 Woodbridge, CA 95258 SUBJECT: Pacific Coast Producers Graffiti Removal at 104 East Tumer Road THOMAS A PETERSON City Manager JENNIFER M PERRIN City Clerk BOB ,etcNATT C:tv Attorney Per your request made at the regular Council Meeting of April 6, 1994, 1 am providing you with our best estimate of costs for our initial removal made in February 1992 on the subject property. Your letter, delivered to me on June 23, 1992, indicated you would have spent one and one-half hours doing your removal at 104 East Turner Road. Therefore, I have used that amount of time in preparing our estimate. Estimate of Initial Removal at 104 East Turner Road Hourly Rate: $5.96 per hour + $.80 (part-time benefits) = $ 6.76 per hour Labor Costs: 1 1/2 hours x $6.76 per hour = $10.14 Material Costs: Assume 1 gallon = $ 3.00 • TOTAL $13.14 'At that time, we purchased recycled paint at a cost of $3.00 per gallon. Based on the r bove calculation, I would estimate the City's cost on the initial removal would have been in the area of $10.00 to $15.00. You also asked for the number of times we have painted the 104 East Turner Road property. Attached is a copy of a Graffiti Report showing most of the times we painted 104 East Turner Road. It's possible that some of our earlier graffiti removal did not get posted.
