AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Well 16 Removal and Replacement of
Spent Carbon, 1426 West Century Boulevard Contract

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the
"Well 16 Removal and Replacement of Spent Carbon,
1426 West Century Boulevard" contract, and direct the City Engineer to
file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Northwestern Carbon of Redding on
April 5, 1995, in the amount of $38,940. The contract has been
completed in substantial conformance with the plans and
specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract completion date was June 14, 1995, and the actual completion date was May 17, 1995.
The final contract price was $38,940.
