HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - August 16, 1995 (44),� OF CITY OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION c'4<�Fo�P AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Transit Administration Offices, 115 North Pleasant Avenue Contract MEETING DATE: August 16, 1995 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "Transit Administration Offices, 115 North Pleasant Avenue" contract, and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Wall Construction of Modesto on April 5, 1995 in the amount of $21,000. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was June 23, 1995, and the actual completion date was June 16, 1995. The final contract price was $21,765. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to one change order totaling $765. These changes involved complying with the Building Division's requests and unknown existing conditions.
