BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project consists of applying type II polymer modified slurry seal to 1,209,995 square yards of various City streets, and other incidental and related work as outlined in the specifications. This work is done annually by contract_ Specifications for this project were approved on June 20, 2001. The City received the following four bids for this project: Bidder Engineer's Estimate Intermountain Slurry Seal, Inc. Valley Slurry Seal Company California Pavement Maintenance Company, Inc. Graham Contractors, Inc. San Jose $ 93,169.65 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends award of the contract for Type II Polymer Modified Slurry Seal for Various City Streets, 2001, be made to the low bidder, Intermountain Slurry Seal, Inc., of Loomis, California. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that the award of the contract for Type II Polymer Modified Slurry Seal for Various City Streets, 2001, be and the same is hereby awarded to the low bidder, Intermountain Slurry Seal, Inc., of Loomis, California, in the amount of $74,918.37.
