AGENDA TITLE: Appointments to the Lodi Arts Commission
MEETING DATE: September 6, 1995

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That Council, by motion action, concur with the recommended
appointments to the Lodi Arts Commission.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At two past Council meetings, the Council directed the City Clerk to
post for vacancies on the Lodi Arts Commission. It is
recommended that Council concur with the following appointments:
Lodi Arts Commission
Wayne Shrope term to expire 7/1/97
Laura Heinitz term to expire 7/1/98
FUNDING: None required.

Graduate of Rio Vista High, 2 yr. Delta College. Working
on teaching credentials at Stanislaus State.
I wish to serve on the Lodi Arts Commission because:
I have always been involved in the art community. I
am a past member and artist of the River Road Art
Gallery in Locke, CA. I am a trained water colorist
and have been involved in a number of shows. I enjoy
music and also play a number of instruments. My
enioyment in the arts is something I want to share
with others as well as be involved in the -'future
growth of the arts in our community.

the City of Lodi Establishing a Lodi Arts Commission in the City of
Lodi is attached for your information.
