AGENDA TITLE: Specifications and Advertisement for Bids for CAD
Workstation for the Parks Department

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the specifications and
authorize the advertisement for bids for one computer
workstation for Computer Assisted Drafting for the Parks
Department..
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In the 1995/97 Financial Plan and Budget document, City
Council approve the purchase of an auto CAD workstation
for the Parks Department. This will allow design work
currently done by hand to be completed in a timely manner
to meet deadlines for various projects. This will also allow sharing of information from our department
to Public Works Department, speeding up the plan check process.
FUNDING: $9,000.00 - General Fund
