HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - May 17, 1995 (43),� OF CITY OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Municipal Service Center Electric Utility Building Modification/Expansion Contract MEETING DATE: May 17, 1995 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "Municipal Service Center Electric Utility Building Modification/Expansion" contract and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Wall Construction of Modesto on September 15, 1994, in the amount of $221,000. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was April 4, 1995, and the actual completion dated was April 7, 1995. The final contract price was $248,165. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to seventeen change orders totaling $27,165. A list of these change orders is attached.
