Proceeds from the sale of Electric Utility Department equipment shall be credited to the Electric Utility Capital Outlay Reserves. Proceeds from the sale of WaterM/astewater Division equipment shall be applied to the Water/Wastewater Equipment Replacement Funds. Proceeds from the sale of all other equipment shall be credited to the Equipment Replacement Fund. The vehicles and equipment listed are surplus and/or replacements have already been purchased and put into service. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Approximately twenty-eight items await disposal. The storage of these units at Municipal Service Center (MSC) creates problems in the yard. They impede maneuvering, vendor deliveries, on-site demonstrations, and day-to-day operations. Dial -A -Ride and Grapeline buses are serviced at the MSC. The Police Department also needs to store vehicles at the yard, sometimes long-term. Therefore, it is imperative that the City dispose of this surplus equipment in a timely manner.
