HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - April 19, 1995 (49)OF 4� CITY OF LOD1 COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Request to Hire Management Intern MEETING DATE: April 19, 1995 SUBMITTED BY: Joanne Narloch, Personnel Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: Hire a management intern to work as liaison between the City Manager and executive management staff to develop the project management system and performance measures to implement performance based bonus pay. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Per the direction of the City Council, a performance based bonus pay plan was developed and will be presented in the City's budget requests for FY 95-96. In order to complete the performance appraisal review process, upon which performance bonus pay is based, a project management system and performance measures for each department head will be developed. To assist Department Heads and the City Manager with implementing this process, it is requested that an intern be hired for approximately 3-4 months.
