Park Street to Vine Street Contract
MEETING DATE: December 6, 1995

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the
"Sacramento Street - Street Reconstruction, Park Street to Vine Street"
contract, and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with
the County Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to A.M. Stephens Construction of Lodi
on June 21, 1995 in the amount of $108,478.00. The contract has
been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and
specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract completion date was August 25, 1995, and the actual completion date was
August 25, 1995. The final contract price was $120,143.30. The difference between the contract
amount and the final contract price is mainly due to additional concrete work, reworking of wet
subgrade and the resetting of a manhole cone.
