HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - January 18, 1995 (82)y OF CITY OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION cgti a+�P AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under City Hall Annex Parking Lot, 211 West Oak Street Contract MEETING DATE: January 18, 1995 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "City Hall Annex Parking Lot, 211 West Oak Street" contract, and direct the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to A. M. Stephens of Lodi on September 15, 1994, in the amount of $21,139.80. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was November 8, 1994, and the actual completion date was November 1, 1994. The final contract price was $23,391.89. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to the placement of fifteen more tons of asphalt than had been estimated and a change order which was issued to place fill in the landscape areas.
