HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - May 2, 2001 E-07AGENDA TITLE: Accept Improvements Under Contract for North School Street Sycamore Tree Trimming, 2000 MEETING DATE: May 2, 2001 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the North School Street Sycamore Tree Trimming, 2000 contract. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Berndt Tree Service, of Lodi, on February 7, 2001, in the amount of $8,888. Due to the exceptional value, Council approved an additional $1,000 to have other trees trimmed in the adjacent area. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was March 19, 2001. The final contract price was $9,890. Following acceptance by the City Council, the City Engineer will file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office.
