A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BASECAMP ENVIRONMENTAL, INC., OF
LODI, FOR ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW SERVICES FOR THE PROPOSED
LAKEHOUSE PROJECT AT 2201 WEST TURNER ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Lodi has received a land use application from 157 California
Reserve, Inc., for 2201 West Turner Road. The proposed project includes a General Plan
Amendment, Rezone, and master development plan for the property; and
WHEREAS, the land use entitlement for this project has required the preparation of an
environmental document consistent with the California Environmental Quality Act. The project
applicant is required to pay for the preparation of environmental review; and
WHEREAS, staff executed a Professional Services Agreement for environmental review
with BaseCamp Environmental, Inc., in April 2021, with the cost of professional services not to
exceed $104,244.25; and
WHEREAS, in November 2022, Council extended the term of the agreement through
December 31, 2023, with an increased amount not to exceed $126,264.25. Processing of the
environmental review documentation and project entitlements took longer than anticipated and
will now be complete by mid -2024; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends authorizing the City Manager to execute Amendment
No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with BaseCamp Environmental, Inc., of Lodi, to
extend the term through June 30, 2024, and for the total contract amount of $126,264.25 to
remain the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby
authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services
Agreement for environmental review services for the proposed Lakehouse project at
2201 West Turner Road with BaseCamp Environmental, Inc., of Lodi, California, to extend the
term through June 30, 2024, with no change to the total contract amount of $126,264.25; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, pursuant to Section 6.3q of the City Council Protocol Manual
(adopted November 6, 2019, Resolution No. 2019-223), the City Attorney is hereby authorized
to make minor revisions to the above -referenced document(s) that do not alter the
compensation or term, and to make clerical corrections as necessary.
