A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI',CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
ST. FRANCIS ELECTRIC, LLC, OF SAN LEANDRO, FOR 2023-2025 TRAFFIC
SIGNAL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR PROGRAM
WHEREAS, this contract includes providing preventive maintenance inspection services
for approximately 55 City -maintained traffic signals and/or lighting systems; and
WHEREAS, staff utilized the California Uniform Construction Public Cost Accounting Act
(Informal Bidding Procedures) to request informal bids from ten contractors who possess the
C-10 Electrical Contractors license and have satisfied the requirements to be included on the
City's informal bidding list; and
WHEREAS, staff received two informal bids by the deadline as reflected on the bid
summary and the lowest bidder was St. Francis Electric, LLC, with a total project cost of
$48,230; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends approving the specifications for the 2023-2025 Traffic
Signal Preventive Maintenance and Repair Program and authorizing the City Manager to
execute a contract with St. Francis Electric, LLC, in the amount of $48,230.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby approve
the specifications for the 2023-2025 Traffic Signal Preventive Maintenance and Repair Program;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize the
City Manager to execute a contract with St. Francis Electric, LLC, of San Leandro, California, in
the amount of $48,230; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, pursuant to Section 6.3q of the City Council Protocol
Manual (adopted 11/6/19, Resolution No. 2019-223), the City Attorney is hereby authorized to
make minor revisions to the above -referenced document(s) that do not alter the compensation
or term, and to make clerical corrections as necessary.
