RECOMMENDED ACTION: Post for expiring terms and vacancies on the Greater Lodi Area Youth
Commission (Student Members and Adult Advisors), Library Board of
Trustees, Lodi Arts Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, and
Planning Commission.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: There is one vacancy and three expiring terms for student members and one
expiring term for an adult advisor on the Greater Lodi Area Youth
Commission; one expiring term on the Library Board of Trustees; three
expiring terms on the Lodi Arts Commission; three expiring terms on the Parks and Recreation Commission; and
two expiring terms on the Planning Commission. It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to
post for these vacancies for a period of 30 days.
Government Code Section 54970 et seg. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens
interested in serving to submit an application.
