BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City Council directed the City Clerk to post for three expiring terms for the Measure L Citizens' Oversight Committee (Districts 1, 2, and 3) on May 25, 2022. Council Members for Districts 1 and 2 recommend the following appointments for their districts. No applications were received for District 3, and staff recommends reposting for that vacancy. The Committee will meet a minimum of three times per year and consists of five members. To the extent possible, at least two members shall be certified public accountants or equivalent. Terms are for a period of three years. Applications are now being accepted to fill one (1) vacancy on the Measure L Citizens' Oversight Committee. THE VACANCY IS FOR THE REPRESENTATIVE FROM DISTRICT 3. Applications are available online at www,Iodi.gov/184/Boards-Commissions- For more information call 333-6702. All commissioners must comply with AB1234 ethics training specified by Government Code section 53235 within 30 days of assuming office and thereafter by December 31 of even -numbered years. (EXCEPTION: Greater Lodi Area Youth Commissioners — Student Appointees) Commissioners must comply with Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) regulations pertaining to Conflict of interest — Form 700s and are required to file an Assuming and Leaving Office Statement within 30 days of assuming or leaving office and annually thereafter by April 1. (This requirement pertains to Library Board of Trustees, Lodi Arts Commission, Lodi Improvement Committee, Measure L Citizens' Oversight Committee, Parks and Recreation Commission, Planning Commission, and SPARC.) Your Conflict of Interest Statement is currently up-to-date. A notice will be sent out soon regarding your annual filing.
