BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City Council directed the City Clerk to post for two vacancies on the Planning Commission on April 20, June 15, and August 4, 2022; four vacancies on the Lodi Arts Commission on February 16, March 16, May 23, and August 4, 2022; and seven vacancies on the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission on March 16 and May 18, 2022. The Mayor reviewed the applications, conducted interviews, and recommends the City Council concur with the appointments as detailed below. Due to a recent resignation, there is one vacancy for a Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission Adult Advisor. Staff recommends posting for the vacancy for the period of 30 days. Government Code Section 54970 et seg. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application.
