BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City Council directed the City Clerk to post for seven vacancies on the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission on March 16 and May 18, 2022. The Mayor reviewed the applications, conducted interviews, and recommends the City Council concur with the appointment as detailed below. APPOINTMENT: Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission Reed Waters Term to expire May 31, 2023 Aubrey Jomaoas Term to expire May 31, 2024 Emma Winn Term to expire May 31, 2024 Finn Moran Term to expire May 31, 2024 Liliana Hillstrom Term to expire May 31, 2024 NOTE: Five applicants (no applications seeking reappointment, no applications on file, five new applications); posting ordered 3/16/22 and 5/16/22; application deadline — open until filled. Meets 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m., Cottage Room at Hutchins Street Square. Contact: Jennifer Winn, Recreation Manager, 333-6891 Adult Advisors: Purpose: To affect positive growth in young adults through a variety of activities that will generate interest and participation within the community. This includes providing guidance and mentorship of commission members and assisting them with programs intended to enhance the lives of our community's younger residents. You must be 21 years or older. Note: Newly appointed members begin service when current member resigns or term expires - whichever occurs first LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEE -S - 5 members, 3 -year terms. Meets 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m., Community Room at the Lodi Public Library. Contact: Akiliah Manuel Mills, Library Services Director, 333-5566 Purpose: To manage the Lodi Public Library; set policy and budget guidelines; review and act on proposals; and advocate on behalf of the library to government officials at all levels.
