BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Due to a recent resignation, there is a vacancy on the Library Board of Trustees. It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for the vacancy for a period of 30 days. The City Council directed the City Clerk to post for one expiring term on the Planning Commission on April 20, 2022. No applications were received and it is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for this vacancy until filled. Government Code Section 54970 et seg. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application.
