Subject: homeless camps along the 99
Hello,
Week after week as I drive along Pine Street and Beckman Road across the 99, I'm always taken aback at how wretched
the conditions are there for both the homeless and general citizens of Lodi. I have never seen such squalor in my life, and
that includes living in NYC for many years. Last Sunday, I went by there and garbage was strewn across the road while a
confused woman had her pants down way below her waist. It was obscene. Have each of you gone by there? Have you
seen the walkway over the 99 that runs parallel to Pine St.?
The people who live there need more help than just shelter, but at least that would be a good start.
So, my question is, what is the plan? Is the State and communities still tossing the ball back and forth with nothing getting
done?
Action needs to be taken immediately. Current conditions are absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable
thank you,
John Petersen

Subject: revise permit count for taco trucks
Hello,
I would appreciate if the council could consider increasing the number of available permits in proportion to the
Citys population growth since the ordinance was adopted.
As currently per the code enforcer there is no more available permits for me to locate the mobile food truck
here in Lodi.
Thank you
Carina
