BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The attached set sets forth the service of City Council Members on various County and regional boards, committees, and commissions. The list is confirmed annually after the reorganization of the City Council for accuracy. The changes made thus far are summarized below and highlighted on the attached list: • Following past practice, the representatives on the San Joaquin Valley Special City Selection Committee have been updated to reflect the reorganization, Mayor Chandler is listed as the Delegate and Mayor Pro Tempore Hothi as the Alternate Additional consideration: Pursuant to the City Council Protocol Manual Section 4.2b, the Mayor is the City's representative on the League of California Cities Central Valley Division Executive Committee, however in previous years Council Members other that the Mayor have serve as representative. In 2021, Mayor Pro Tempore Hothi was assigned to the position. The Council may decide to retain Mayor Pro Tempore Hothi as the City's representative, assign Mayor Chandler, or appoint another member of the Council. Staff is requesting that Council determine what additional changes need to be made to the appointments and confirm the appointments following a final reading in to the record by the City Clerk.
