Congratulations! The City Council, at its regular meeting of August 18, 2021, has concurred with the Mayor's
recommendation to appoint you as an Adult Advisor to the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission for a three-
year term (expiring May 31, 2024).
Please take this moment to read the attached Oath of Office, sign and date the form, and return to the City
Clerk's Office at your earliest convenience.
A copy of this letter will be forwarded to the City liaison for this group who will contact you soon regarding your
responsibilities and the dates and times of upcoming meetings.

appointment (or reappointment) and prior to participating in any commission meetings or activities.
• All commissioners must comply with AB1234 ethics training specified by Government Code section
53235 within 30 days of assuming office and thereafter by December 31 of even -numbered years.
(EXCEPTION: Greater Lodi Area Youth Commissioners — Student Appointees)

and-empioyees-rules-!ethics-training.hti-ni. Please choose the "Local Officials" training. Once your training
session is completed, you must print the Certification of Completion and provide a copy to the City
Clerk's Office. Please note — your certificate must indicate that training has been for a minimum of two
hours.
Thank you for your willingness to serve the Lodi community.
